DANUBE WALTZ RIVER CRUISE, NOVEMBER 30 TO DECEMBER 8, 2018

History Music and Christmas Markets!

Note:  This trip is filled.

Looking for an alternative to the frenetic holiday season buildup in the US? Why not join Jim Stolis on this seven-night 2018 Danube River cruise for a multi-country voyage heightened by the magic of the holiday season in Europe? Scheduled a week after Thanksgiving and arriving home two and a half weeks before Christmas, this could be the interlude you've been seeking to escape the endless holiday marketing blitz at home! Many of our RC 10 travelers have already experienced their first river cruise by Vantage Deluxe World Travel with me, and are now fans of this delightful mode of travel. Unpack once in your well-appointed cabin, and settle in to experience the history and music of four countries (five, if you do the post extension!), all while viewing them through the lens of European holiday traditions.

Your itinerary takes you from Budapest, Hungary to Regensburg, Germany via Bratislava (Slovakia), Vienna, Salzburg or Linz (Austria), and Passau (Germany). Opt for the Pre-extension to see more of Budapest or the Post-extension to visit Prague (Czech Republic), which I hear is fairy-like at Christmas time! Enjoy a special concert at the Kursalon Music Hall in Vienna (frequent venue of Johann Strauss), a church organ concert, a rehearsal of the Spanish Lippizaner horses and a tour of the Palais Liechtenstein in Vienna. Visit any or all of six different Christmas markets, or use the time to wander among the beautiful architecture through which you're traveling, and let its history seep in.

Special group price of $2,716 includes air from JFK (charter bus from Capital Region to be arranged at additional cost of approximately $130 round trip), all port taxes, all activities as described in promotional flyer, daily excursion guide/driver gratuities and ALL meals—and we're talking seriously good food, here! Limited singles are available with zero single supplement! Although this is not until 2018, early registration is crucial to lock in cabin inventory being held for me for a limited time. (I'm holding inventory on the prime dates for this cruise.) Early registration also affords opportunity for 10 percent discount for registrants paying in full.
