The RC 10 Annual Spring Luncheon was held on June 7, 2018, at the Shaker Ridge Country Club. A wonderful time was had by all who attended.
On May 22, 2018 RC 10 held its Regional Conference at NYSUT Headquarters.
On May 23, 2018, RC 10 members and guests enjoyed the Bronx Botanical Gardens. It was a beautiful day, with an avalanche of color and fragrance that greeted the senses. We also saw an exhibit of Georgia O'Keeffe's paintings that were created while she was in Hawaii. The exhibit of Hawaiian plants was spectacular. Much thanks to Grace Cramer and Reenie Woerner for planning and leading the day.
On October 10, 2017 RC-10 sponsored a Fall Luncheon and General Meeting that focused on information about the reasons to Vote No on the NYS Constitutional Convention referendum.
RC 10 members and guests made a trip to Portugal and the Duoro River in September, 2017. Enjoy these photo memories of their trip.
On September 12, 2017, RC 10 members joined with about 60 education activists at the SUNY Board of Trustees meeting in Saratoga to protest the two-tier system of teacher accreditation that would enable charter schools to decrease the certification requirements for their teachers.
