While we are sheltering in place, to protect ourselves from the coronavirus that has taken so many lives in the United States and around the world, we can take a simple step to lower our risk while still fulfilling our duty as a citizen. You can apply for an absentee ballot to be mailed to you, which would enable you to vote in the convenience of your own home.
Simply print the below form and mail in to your County Board of Elections. You can find the address here: https://www.elections.ny.gov/countyboards.html. On the application, you may select “Temporary Illness or Physical Disability” as your reason for requesting an absentee ballot due to the potential of contracting COVID-19.
