Hi!
We are very excited about this year's Union Labor Day Celebration. It will take place at the Joe Bruno Stadium located at 80 Vandenburgh Avenue, Troy, NY 12180 on September 7th from noon until 4:00 pm. It is free for all union members and their families, and there will be great food, music, tons of activities for kids and lots of fun things to do. We need to know how many people are coming by September 1st so we can ensure we have the right amount of food and drink for everyone.
We are also very excited about a new initiative happening this year. We are asking everyone who attends to bring a non perishable food items to be donated to the Food Pantries for the Capital District and the Regional Food Bank. The Teamsters are bringing their truck and we are hoping to fill it. To do that we are depending on the generosity of our union members and their families. I am attaching a list of suggested items that the food pantries need.
By all of our unions working together, we can ensure that this year's celebration of labor and unions will be the most successful so far!
