RC 10 does many things to support our communities. One way has been to randomly select first year teachers and give them a little boost of $100 for area retirees. (Gives them something to look forward too!)

Rensselaer County- Averill Park TA John McCarrick
Rensselear County- Lansingburgh -Lindsay Tedesco
On right- Averill Park TA President, Terry Miller and RC 10 Representative Paula Johannessen presented new teacher John McCarrick with check from RC 10. Such a positive experience! John was so appreciative. He just found out that he had to take two mandated NYS classes that he thought his college tuition covered, and found out he had to pay $200 for them. He knew exactly what the check was going to be used for. RC 10 makes a difference!
