Wreaths Across America

A final call for anyone interested in participating in the Wreaths Across America, at the Gerald Solomon Cemetery, on December 14, 2024.
Wreath placement will begin at 10:30 a.m. and the ceremony will commence at noon. You are welcome to stay for all or part of this event. Final meeting instructions will be sent about a week before the event is scheduled. Last year the weather was spectacular, and we are hoping for mild weather and no snow this year.
If you are interested in joining Retiree Council 10 for this inspiring event, email me your name and cell phone number so we have a way of connecting on the 14th of December. I will send my cell number to all participants in the final email that will have specific instructions. (I already have 25 registered.)
Several people have asked how to donate wreaths. Follow these directions if you are so inspired:

Under About: click on Locations and Groups
Click on Sponsorship Group and type in NY0523 (This is Retiree Council 10)
You can then click on the number of wreaths you would like to donate, and your purchase will show that a member of our group sponsored the purchase. Complete your purchase. (I’m not sure why they ask you to sign in because you don’t need to do that in order to complete the purchase.) Just continue with your purchase.
